11 years

It has been 11 years since I fell in love with a sweet boy with sparkling blue eyes and cherub cheeks. We met at the beginning of our freshman year at the University of Montana in Missoula. One of Pete's friends from his hometown lived a couple doors down from me in the dorm. She dragged me along to hang out with her friends a few times and I was introduced to Pete. I must have made a huge impression. The third time we met he looked me in the eyes and asked if we had met before. Seriously? I responded that we had met twice before. His cheeks turned pink and he gave me a cute smile. He hasn't forgotten me since.

Eleven years ago I was beginning to fall in love with Pete dancing to a swing band in a ballroom at UM. Through the past 11 years we've been through a lot and I continue to fall in love with him a little more each day. I love being able to make him smile and laugh. He is my best friend. He is my favorite. He is my everything.

So enough with the sappy stuff. Here are some photos over the past 11 years. This is fall of our freshman year of college camping at his family's cabin.
