These brownies are soft, gooey and very very chocolaty. I wouldn't expect anything less since it was Chocolatechic's pick this week. I find myself going back for just another little piece. I've had about 20 little pieces. But these are so very yummy and deserve to be nibbled on.
This recipe has A LOT of butter in it. I feel like I'm constantly buying unsalted butter in bulk at Costco. With a mix of unsweetened and bittersweet chocolate these brownies are for true chocolate lovers. When I started this blog I didn't really like chocolate and especially no dark and very chocolaty chocolates. But over the past 11 months my taste buds have grown and matured and now I look forward to the chocolaty recipes. This one definitely didn't disappoint.
On a little side note, I've mentioned that my sweet tooth disappeared for a bit. It is now back with a vengeance. It took a leave of absence for approximately three months. It is now back and going strong and I've got the belly to prove it.
Pete and I have been working on a different sort of baking project. We have a little bun in the oven waiting to come and meet us in July.
Thanks to Tanya of Chocolatechic for picking this week's recipe. It was super delicious and the baby and I really enjoyed it. Check out her blog for her recipe. Head on over to Tuesdays with Dorie to see what the other bakers thought about these brownies.

congratulations!
