Resolutions

I've never been a resolution kind of girl but this new year with a new baby and other big changes I thought it might be helpful. I also figured if I posted them on here there would be some accountability. I can't just say I'm going to do all this in my head because with my lack of sleep I'll forget my resolutions by tomorrow. So here they are in no particular order:
  1. Be a nicer person
  2. Have more patience
  3. Drink more water
  4. Read more with Lukey
  5. Start baking regularly again (and possibly even blogging about it)
  6. Spend more one on one time with Pete
  7. Run a 5K
  8. More frequent walks with Willa and Lukey
  9. Keep in contact with family and friends
  10. Write more letters (at least once a month to Mom and Oma and Opa)
  11. Keep both blogs going
  12. Meet new friends/join some Mommy groups
  13. Spend less money and save more
  14. Do a yoga class/swimming class with Lukey
  15. Be supportive and helpful to Pete
  16. Continue breastfeeding
  17. More sewing projects and get better at crocheting
  18. Read more books
  19. Start a garden
  20. Feel confident in a bikini again
I think that is a good start for now. Some of my resolutions are easy and others will be challenging (like patience). If I think of any others I'll add them and when I complete some I'll cross them off. 

I am so excited for this new year and all the things Pete and I have to look forward to with Lukey. So I'm ready for the challenges and really cannot wait to get started. Lucas will be my inspiration because really how can you say no to this face:
