Our little bundle of joy was born at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday July 13, 2010. He weighed in at 8lbs 7 oz. and was 20.75" tall. He is now almost 7 weeks old and I've been neglecting to update this old blog and let everyone know that he is here and we are both doing well.
It has been quite the adventure the past seven weeks learning how to care for little Lucas. We've had our ups and downs but we are beginning to get the hang of this taking care of a newborn thing. It's tricky.
Here are a bunch of photos and when I have more time I will update again. He is adorable.
Here he is at one week:

Two weeks:

Three weeks:

Four weeks:

Five weeks:

and six weeks:

Kim, he's adorable! Thanks for checking in and letting us know what you've been up to. I don't doubt that it's tricky to care for a newborn...I would have no clue! I hope you're enjoying the adventure though.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that monkey??? Just kidding, Lucas is absolutely adorable...such an expressive little face. Love the photo of you at the hospital, you look so happy. Congratulations to you all. We will be, of course, holding you to those promises of updated photos...the first year goes so fast and they change so much!!! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly beautiful boy! He is sooooo tall! ...and those big clear blue eyes, what more could you ask for!? He's got 10 toes, 10 fingers, breathes right and is adorable, right?
You must be so proud! Congratulations!
A little poem I learned in kindergarten seems appropriate...
I love you little, I love you lots
My love for you would fill two pots
Fifteen buckets, sixteen cans
Three tea cups and four dishpans!
...And I'm sure, soooo much more!
Congrats Kim and Pete, have a great time enjoying the apple of your eye!
He's so darling! Congratulations!
